Remix22 is the name of the fourteenth edition of the European Youth Music Festival. This festival is a Europe-wide event that has been held regularly on a large scale since 1985, either in a city or in a specific region of the European Union. In the past, the EYMF has already been associated several times with the European Capitals of Culture such as in 2016 in San Sebastian (Spain) or in 2018 in Sneek within the framework of Leeuwarden-Frysland (Netherlands). The festival will take place around Ascension 2022, more precisely from Wednesday 25th to Saturday 28th of May, and in the framework of Esch2022, European Capital of Culture. 2022 talented secondary and tertiary students in the fields of music, dance and theater from 23 European countries will perform in concerts over three days in various indoor and outdoor venues. At the heart of the European idea, youth music festivals not only show the vibrancy of Europe's diverse musical traditions but also the unity when young musicians from different countries come together in the common language of music. Over the years, the EMU and its member associations have gained significant experience in organising these festivals. More than that, the interest of EMU members in hosting one of these festivals has grown over the years, demonstrating the power of music and culture in uniting nations. EMU General Assembly and Conference Alongside the musical performances, the EMU General Assembly and a conference will be held, with the European theme of developing arts and cultural education as the focus of discussion.

About
The non-for-profit College of Directors and Managers of Conservatories, Schools and Music Courses, founded in 1998 by all the directors of Luxembourg music teaching establishments in office at the time of its creation, has set itself the goal of promoting dialogue and coordination between its various members, in order to harmonise the positioning and proposals of its members with regard to issues relating to the organisation of music teaching in general and in particular in the various conservatories, schools and music courses. In strict compliance with the legislation and the respective municipal regulations in force, the College acts as a think tank for the organisation of music teaching. It also acts as a advisory body that can make suggestions and give advice to the competent authorities. The association is currently chaired by Mr Marc Treinen (President-Director of the Conservatory of Esch-Alzette), with Mr Bob Morhard (Vice-President, Director of the Regional School of Music of the City of Dudelange), Mrs Nadine Eder (Secretary-Director of the Regional School of Music of the Town of Echternach) and Mr Romain Asselborn (Treasurer-Director of the Regional School of Music Grevenmacher) forming the board of directors.
