Take a rhythm, an idea for a short melody, refine it with a tinkle of guitar, run it through the looper and you've got a great new tune! With the Loopstation you have plenty of room for your creativity.

Workshop Young audience // Recommended age: 11+ // Ticket price: 8€ // Guitar and loop station just fit together perfectly! We will introduce you to the use of this great tool and show you some of the endless possibilities of what you can do with it, either when playing alone or in a group. Feel free to bring your own instrument and experiment with the looper yourself!

Workshop // Ticket price: 15€ // Fret buzz? Parasite sounds? Guitar out of tune after a short time? Don’t go mad at your beloved 4- or 6-string! There are many ways to set up a guitar and even more to totally screw it up! Luthier Didac Zerrouk will show you how to set up your guitar in the right way (neck, bridge, intonation etc.) and how to make it feel and sound best for you! Participants are required to bring their guitar or bass, a tuner, jack cable, and a new set of strings.

Live Music // Doors: 20h00 // Show: 20h30 // Ticket price: FREE. The Rocklab Pop-Up Session is a live session of Luxembourg artists and bands filmed in unusual places in Luxembourg. Join this live recording of a special Rocklab Pop-Up Session, where a selection of Luxembourg’s finest guitar players will jam to the electronic music soundscapes provided by the participants of two major Esch2022 and Rocklab projects: Future Frequencies and The Sound of Data. The guitarists will each handpick one of the iconic guitars stemming from the Luc Henzig collection. Expect a rather unique jam session where vintage guitars meet electronic soundscapes, in the exquisite setting of the Live, Breathe and Sleep Guitars guitar exhibition!

Together with a rock band playing live on stage, we will take you on a musical journey of the guitar through the 20th century, from the beginnings of amplified music to the rocking sound of the 1960s. In the second part, you can try out the different instruments (acoustic & electric guitar, keys, bass and drums) yourself and become part of the rock band.
