Multi platinum, Grammy Award winning band Imagine Dragons announce their 2022 Mercury World Tour, in celebration of the release of their latest album, Mercury – Act 1. The band will take the stage of OPEN AIR BELVAL on June 16th, only one day after the first open-air concert with BLACK EYED PEAS, in front of the breath-taking blast furnaces of Belval right across the Rockhal. Their highly anticipated fifth studio album Mercury – Act 1 was released on September 3, 2021. Teaming up with esteemed producer Rick Rubin and with its title drawing inspiration from the word “mercurial,” Mercury – Act 1 is a candid album that abandons metaphorically charged lyrics and instead embraces emotional extremities, holding nothing back.

Dans la foulée des concerts open air de BLACK EYED PEAS, IMAGINE DRAGONS, et quelques semaines avant celui de THE KILLERS le 10 juillet, c’est au tour des artistes locaux de faire le show au pieds des hauts fourneaux de Belval, accompagnés sur scène par l’Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, le dimanche 19 juin prochain dès 17h00. Les projecteurs seront braqués sur les artistes et solo ou en groupe qui font la scène musicale contemporaine mais également celles et ceux qui ont marqué la scène musicale du pays ces dernières décennies : CHAILD, CULTURE THE KID, DER DÄIWEL, DREAM CATCHER, EDSUN, ENGLBRT, FRANCIS OF DELIRIUM, FRED BARRETO GROUP, MAZ, PARK CAFÉ, SERGE TONNAR, SURF COWBOYS, THEM LIGHTS et TUYS. Pop, Rock, Blues, Hip-Hop, Electro… ce programme éclectique pensé pour tous les goûts et pour toutes les générations sera conduit par un chef d’exception : Gast Waltzing.
