The Freesson collective was founded in 2000 and brings together more than twenty artists. It is conceived as an itinerant laboratory dedicated to digital arts/cultures, visual arts and electronic music. For more than 20 years, Freesson has been developing an innovative artistic and cultural project that combines creation, dissemination and mediation. As part of Esch2022, the collective will run several workshops:

WORKSHOP – INTRODUCTION TO LIGHTPAINTING FROM 14 YEARS OLD
The artists Cleps and Etsi of the Freesson collective invite you to discover lightpainting, an old photographic technique that is becoming ever more popular thanks to the development of digital photography. It consists of drawing in space with lamps and recording the movements using a long exposure time. The resulting image reveals the trails and traces left by the movements of the light sources in the dark space. After the workshop, you will be able to take home a digital copy of your own lightpainting photograph.
