Local History (in French)
November 24th, 2021
Culturel Centre “André Zirves” in Rumelange, LuxembourgDiscover the many different facets of local history through the problems that exist in collective memories. How does that memory influence our present and our future? If the Esch2022 territory were to be a monument, what would it look like? Several artists and project partners set out their points of view. The
“E roude Fuedem duerch de roude Buedem” seeks to reveal old histories and legends in several towns which share one particular feature: their red soil. Project “33,7” will create a huge musical map of the mixed population living in the South of Luxemburg. And the project entitled “Our archives – your story” will transmit the memories of that site to the future residents of the NeiSchmelz quarter.
