Jazz, hip-hop, classical music… Autumn has something to offer for all music lovers

Synaesthesia ©Emile V. Schlesser

In the upcoming weeks, you will have the opportunity to experience music with all your senses, to see young hip-hop artists live on stage or to enjoy some more traditional classical concerts in rather unusual settings.

SYNAESTHESIA is a unique, immersive jazz event created by multimedia artist Émile V. Schlesser and the jazz trio Reis-Demuth-Wiltgen, which takes visitors on a journey into a completely unique sensory world. The jazz compositions that have been composed especially for this show merge with the computer-generated visual universes of the multimedia artist Schlesser. The audio and video recordings are perfectly coordinated and interact with each other. Thanks to its 360-degree video projection, this walk-in room installation allows visitors to surround themselves with musical sounds that eventually transform into colours, shapes and movements. It is an audiovisual experience that seems like a combination of concert, art installation and film projection, but in fact, it is neither. The 4 artists appear in the form of holograms while leading the performance from behind the scenes.

The Mosaïque Culturelle project also uses music to bring people together. This multicultural project explores memories about immigration, but also the future of the people living here as well as their integration. Even if you can’t always communicate in the same language, there is one thing that unites us all: culture. Music, literature, theatre and dance are powerful themes and universal languages that unite people of all backgrounds.

In this spirit, the Eglise Sacré-Coeur in Esch-Alzette is hosting a musical event that combines the sacred with the profane, as well as gastronomy with dance. This project aims to attract a broad audience and invites all those interested to come and enjoy a convivial get-together.

The project team is made up of choirmaster Thomas Raoult, soprano Rachel Amegee, musicians from Les amis des Accordéon, dancers from Artango, actors from ITALIATEATRO and director Carla Casaburi.
