Flashback of the Jugenddag and Familljendag

For the Jugenddag and Familljendag 2021, we welcomed for the first time two artists from the collective Freesson from Avignon: Confipop and Jankenpopp. They were able to discover the European Capital of Culture Esch2022 and start preparing new workshops on the diverse architecture of the city of Esch-sur-Alzette. The Bricomusique workshop they held on 17 and 18 September in Annexe22, Place de la Résistance was a great success. Young and not-so-young were surprised by the eccentric musical objects and were carried away by the energetic electronic music of the two artists. The artists provided the audience with a range of old toys and real vegetables that were converted into musical keyboards through clever connections to electronic circuits. Everyone could improvise their own song and participate in the rhythms played live by the artists. Augmented reality marker cards were also available for testing. This was a foretaste of the Voxel and Pop-Up workshops that Jankenpopp will be offering in May at the SKIP in Belval. See you next year for more workshops and discoveries!
