'Tableaux de Fusion' is a visual art exhibition of artworks that combine photography, painting, graphic design and other forms of art together. The project will bring together professionals from different fields of art, nationalities, cultures and beliefs. The artworks will showcase different places, people and events from within the ECoC and Europe. The project does not focus on the finished artwork but more on the process of creation. Here, more than 10 artists of different nationalities, cultures and beliefs will be working together. The project encourages these different artists to express how they relate with and interpret the culture, people and events of ECoC and CCPHVA as well as the rest of Europe. The finished product will be a combination of different art styles and techniques in each canvas that will be exhibited in a gallery.

"I was born in Benin City, Nigeria. There, I attended universities and obtained a diploma in Painting & General Art (2006), and later, a bachelors in Banking & Finance (2014). For almost ten years, my life had journeyed through careers in banking, ICT, entrepreneurship, art, publishing and activism. On August 18 2014, I was shot twice in the head in an assassination attempt. I survived and fled my country in 2015 to Russia. I arrived in Luxembourg in 2017 and since have participated in more than 10 local and international art and cultural events.
It’s been a journey of almost 35 years. The stories are varied, vivid and sometimes veiled. It is made of many little pieces. I paint in a unique way by painting irregular shapes that eventually form a whole. In my works, you can see the connections. The cracks and stacks. Through art, one can feel the fragility and relationship between all the many pieces that make up our society."
Anne Lommel is a food/travel/lifestyle photographer with an art direction background based in Luxembourg. She studied Art Direction at the Miami Ad School Hamburg and she did internships with agencies such as Ogilvy&Mather (Paris, London) and Digitas (San Francisco). She discovered her passion for photography during my studies at Miami Ad School. After the advertising experience, the opportunity came along to be a travel guide. She collected great moments and experiences in Turkey (Antalya) and Greece (Kos). After two years it was clear to her that she needed to follow her creative path. So, since mid-2017, she has been working as a full-time photographer. Her work includes assignments from companies, freelancers, agencies, and private clients.
