REMIX HARIKO

Graffiti Artist MINA from Berlin will paint the dance room during February and everyone can visit her during the process. Graffiti Artist WONAbc from Munich will paint the entrance of the building (Batiment 4) during April and everyone can visit him during this process.

Hariko will open its doors for everyone to come and participate in art workshops, to get to know the work of Hariko and to meet the Team. Additionally the public can visit the studios of the Hariko artists, make contact and exchange with them as well as to see the work process of them. Over the day the people can participate in various workshops like Graffiti, Painting, African Dance, Leather Craft. Besides that, the young members of Hariko will perform a little concert outside on the stage.

After Greece and France, the 5th Edition of the Integr'Art resideny arrives for the first time in Luxembourg. This intercultural art residency is a creative space that invites 10 local artists and 10 new local artists (refugee, migrant, asylum seeker) living in Luxembourg to work together and create collective art pieces around the topic INTERGARTION. During 10 continuous days, they will be invited to exchange, experience, debate, share ideas, skills, shapes, images, words and texture towards building new perspectives on integration in Europe today. The residency offers a privileged space for intercultural and intergenerational dialogue through the universal language of art and empowers artists to deliver their own message through art to raise awareness among the community. The Integr'Art program will embark the artists and general public on a culinary trip to different parts of the world, where traditional tastes, smells, and stories will make way for dialogue.

At the end of the Integr'Art residency, the artists' work will be presented in the Bâtiment 4 in Esch/Alzette, and then integrated into the nomad Integr'Art Exhibition that will continue traveling in different regions in Europe. There will be art, music and food.

The Hariko Beach Festival is an event focused on the musical aspect of Hariko for Esch22 with a flair of summer by decorating the inside as well as the outside of the Hariko like a beach. The festival will start with concerts from the young members of Hariko, as well as old members. After that the music teachers of Hariko will have concerts with their bands called ``Kid Colling Kartell`` and ``Foreigners``. Eventually extern musicians/bands like ``No Metal in this Battle``, ``Miles to Perdition``, ``First Mote`` will perform. Simultaneously their will be a DJ Collective called ``DJ Homeless`` that will perform inside of the building. Cocktails, Pools, a Beachvolleyballfield, little games, dance workshops, treasure hunt are a few things to mention that await you on the Hariko Beach Festival on the 16th of July. For members of Hariko as well as young people from 12-26 the entrance is free, for people out of that spectrum, the booking ticket will be at 10 € and for box office the ticket is 15 € .

In October 2022, HARIKO at Bâtiment 4 in Esch/Alzette will open the doors for people from all ages, who can participate in several workshop held by artists of the HARIKO collectif in Bâtiment 4.
