Car-Free Sunday with the Cuistax(i) in Esch-Alzette

After last year’s success, we invite you to take a ride on our Cuistax(i) as part of Car-Free Sunday on September 19, 2021 in Esch-Alzette. The Cuistax is a pedal car that can be rented at the Belgian coast or other holiday resorts. It is equipped with more than two wheels (tricycle or quadricycle) and a variable number of seats and pedals. It is used for exploring the surroundings together and is not to be seen as a means of transport but as a leisure vehicle. While people like to enjoy the sea air on a Cuistax on the Belgian coast, the special vehicle can be found in Esch on September 19, 2021 during the European Mobility Week. The pedal car promotes shared leisure activities, in line with the leitmotif of Esch2022 REMIX Culture, and at the same time represents a form of active mobility that the European Capital of Culture also wants to promote. So, who says you can’t bring the charm of the Belgian coast into the city? Instead of a classic Sunday stroll, enjoy a tour with the Esch2022 team through Park Laval along the Bains du Parc.
And as taxi drivers should, we will be happy to answer all your questions and provide detailed information about the Esch2022 project.
When? On Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 10 am to 6 pm
Where? “Place des Sacrifiés 1940-1945” in front of the “Escher Schwemm – Bains du Parc”, Esch-Alzette
The Cuistax will be on the road again this year as part of the “Nuit de la Culture”. For more information on the programme of the “Nuit de la Culture”, please visit the homepage of the Nuit de la Culture.
